Vinyl Graphics and Sign Installations Specialist – Charlotte, NC

About the Job: The purpose of the Vinyl Graphics and Sign Installations Specialist is to work directly with our Project Managers and Customers to provide product installations and support.

  • Supports our Purpose, Mission, Vision, and Core Values.
  • Homebase will be in the Charlotte, NC facility.
  • The schedule is 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday, and as required.
  • Report directly to the Production Manager.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have and be responsible for:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience installing wide-format related signage and fabricated items including signs and wall graphics for both interior and exterior applications for a sign company.
  • Candidates that possess 3M, Oracal, and/or Avery install certifications are preferred.
  • Typical installation duties will include but are not limited to installing adhesive vinyl graphics on various surface types including, vehicles, windows, walls, hanging banners, standoff mounted, cleat mounted, and flush-mounted signs fabricated from various substrate materials.
  • Must be proficient with an iPad and in Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to learn our programs and systems.
  • Must be motivated, possess a strong work ethic, give great attention to details and directions, be available, and be willing to work overtime as needed.
  • Must possess the knowledge and communications skills to conduct a presale site survey for our project managers. This will include collecting accurate measurements, taking photos, making relevant notes, understanding the need for additional equipment such as lifts or scaffolding, and promptly relaying this information in an organized and orderly manner. These site surveys may also require interaction with an onsite client contact; therefore, the candidate must be comfortable interacting with clients.
  • Must be competent in using tools of the trade such as tape measures, drills, levels, lasers, and other manual, electric, and pneumatic tools.
  • Have the ability and willingness to work at heights on ladders and lifts.
  • You must be able to physically stand for long periods of time, the ability to squat, kneel, crawl, and lift 50 lbs.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and possess a clean driving record (no DUIs or reckless driving for ten years) and be able to reliably get to work on time each day they are scheduled.
  • Must be willing to drive up to 90 minutes to the job site. Mileage reimbursable.
  • Must be eligible to work legally in the United States.
  • Consent to a pre-employment nationwide criminal background check.
  • This solicitation for employment is for a full-time position but part-time independent subcontractors may inquire. As a condition of employment, all full-time candidates may not operate a competitive business in their spare time.
