Elevating the PBSA Mid-Year Conference Environment
The Professional Background Screening Association (PBSA) hosted its 2025 Mid-Year Conference at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, VA. As their team prepared for a multi-day gathering of industry professionals, they turned to Heritage for visual solutions that would support the tone, flow, and identity of the event.
Working from client supplied artwork, Heritage produced and installed branded graphics throughout the hotel including the lobby, escalators, elevators, and registration areas to help guide attendees and create a polished, high-visibility environment. Our team managed all aspects of print prep, production, and on-site execution under a compressed schedule that included weekend installation and weekday removal.
Project Goals + Background
PBSA’s internal event team had a clear vision for how the environment should look and feel: elevated, cohesive, and purposeful. The goal was to reflect the organization’s professional identity through branded visuals that engaged attendees from the moment they arrived.
Heritage worked closely with their design files and floorplans to ensure every element was correctly scaled, prepped, and sequenced for production. We also performed detailed site coordination and material selection to ensure smooth application on various surfaces across the venue.
Process + Solutions Delivered
- Column Wraps: Wrapped four columns throughout the hotel with conference branding to reinforce messaging and fill negative space
- Registration Desk Wrap: Applied a wide-format desk wrap to serve as a branded focal point in the attendee check-in area
- Glass Walkway Graphics: Installed two large-format decals on interior glass railings to enhance visual presence and define the event footprint
- Elevator Wraps: Wrapped elevator doors and header panels on three units to bring visual consistency across vertical transitions
- Escalator Graphics: Branded both sides of two escalator columns to carry the theme across high-traffic vertical spaces
- Meter Boards: Produced freestanding double-sided displays to support wayfinding and agenda visibility
- Installation Services: Coordinated all installation logistics with hotel staff, completing weekend setup and scheduled removal with minimal disruption

From bold column wraps to directional signage, every element was produced and installed with precision to elevate PBSA’s conference experience. Attendees moved through a branded environment that supported clarity, professionalism, and event cohesion at every turn.
